Plan practice beforehand in order to quickly jump between stages. When time is lost, players get distracted by other things - so keep them busy!
Consider timing each stage and giving a physical rhythm to the practice. After warm-up, ideally, you want to do an intense quick and simple drill, which helps people get focused.
Teach theory every practice in small amounts. Bringing tools and toys to create visual demonstrations is helpful. Always try to follow-up with a drill that puts the theory into context.
Before grouping the team to teach theory, try burning their energy by doing sprints so that you grab their attention while they recover.
Make sure that everyone in the team can draw benefits from practice. If you have a mix of skilled and unskilled players or too many players, consider doing drills in separate groups. Never let people wait in line too long when doing drills.
Players feel good when they burn energy, fitness training is recommended.
