Basic Fitness routine
The focus of this particular circuit is to develop explosiveness in the legs and core as demanded by our sport.
Particular attention should be payed to the following two areas:
1.
Keep a straight core (proper posture). Imagine a straight line from the top of your head to your pelvis. By maintaining this line, you avoid bad posture and potential injury while also acquiring great core strength.
2.
Explosion. From a physical point of view, frisbee demands being able to run fast and jump high. All of the exercises in this routine aim at achieving this as long as the athlete puts forth the appropriate intensity. Don't take short cuts - imagine breaking through your ceiling when you jump!
Level 1: 3x through exercises with 4 minutes rest in between rounds.
Level 2: 4x through exercises with 3 minutes rest in between rounds.
Level 3: 5x through exercises with 2 minutes rest in between rounds.
Remember to get a good warm-up and to properly stretch after completion!!
