Bravas sent two teams to the soft, white beaches of Valencia to compete in the 3rd edition of Sabe a Mixta. Team "Bravas Revolution" represented the green and yellow in the Fun division, while Team Bravas went to test its mettle in the Elite division. On Sunday, December 3rd, 18 teams braved the cold beaches of Castelldefels to play the final phase of 2017's Lliga Catalana d'Ultimate.The five teams in the top pool were well matched such that none managed to coast to a clear victory by winning all of their four games. Many from Bravas Ultimate played for various national teams in the world championships that took place in Royan, France, from the 18th to the 24th of June. Spain was represented in seven categories. Under the snowy hills of Huesca, single-digit temperatures did nothing to cool down the Bravas women and open teams. Last weekend the women played the 3rd edition of the Cremas' Beach Challenge. Corocotta won the tournament, like the first edition, against the Chupa French team, who won the SOTG. Corocotta easily controlled the game at first but Chupa starred anepic comeback bringing the team to the cap 7-7 game to 8... Luckily we skiped the rain and we actually enjoyed a warm weekend and even a beatiful sunny Sunday. The new location a Casanova Beach Club contributed to build a new atmosphere during the tournament and the Bollywood theme brought an exotic touch that we all enjoyed, specially with the Banghra dancers.After recovering of playing and partying we already started to think on how to beat a new edition of our tournament, and we promise we'll do our best again! We came back from Viareggio a week ago and we had a ball: intense games, great food and crazy parties! We were Nico, Jos, Ewelina, Anna, Roger, Austin, Oscar, David, Eric, Gabi and Alicia (from Peixets). The Bravas took a team to the Fogassa beach tournament last weekend in Grande Motte, France. It really felt like the first weekend of summer, especially day two, a very sunny sunday in the sand!
